Stores are now taking orders for Sharp’s D85U Series LCD HDTVs, which includes 42-, 46- and 52-inch models. While this line shares many features with the D65U Series that we told you was available a few weeks ago, the D85U Series features 120Hz processing and a 4ms response time. Together these provide you with a better picture during fast moving scenes like you would see when watching sports.

Now showing up at our stores are new portable GPS navigation systems from Sony. The Sony NVU44, NVU84 and NVU94T add more brand icons, search functionality and photo viewing features which bring entertainment to navigation. Below are excerpts from Sony’s press release.

Now available at our stores is the Navigon 7200T, which is a high-end portable GPS navigation system packed with cool features. Navigon says this unit comes with some pretty unique stuff like “Reality View Pro, Lane Assistant Pro and free real-time traffic updates for life. On top of the entry level Powershot E1 camera that we just wrote about, Canon is out with three more models– A1000IS, A2000IS and SX110IS. Oddly enough, one thing all these cameras have in common is that they’re powered by AA batteries so you’ll never have to worry about replacing a high-price Lithium-Ion battery or loosing your charger. In addition to Garmin’s new Nuvi 200 Series models that we just told you about, you can now find the Garmin Nuvi 755T, 765T, 775T and 785T at our stores. All these models feature traffic alerts via NAVTEQ, bluetooth for hands-free calling and “Lane Assist” which helps you decide which ramp to take in confusing highway situations. One other highlight of these new units is the addition of a 3-D Building View to give you more perspective as you navigate.

A few new GPS systems popped up in Garmin’s ever-expanding Nuvi line including the Garmin Nuvi 265T, 265WT and 275T. All these budget-priced models feature bluetooth for hands-free calling and free traffic alerts from NAVTEQ. The 265T (pictured above) comes with an 3.5″ LCD display while it’s sibling, the 265WT, sports a 4.3″ widescreen LCD display. And, if you’re spending any time in Europe, you’ll want to checkout the 275T which includes those maps.
