We would like to tell you about one of our favorite sections on Bountii- Price Drops. If you have checked out this part of the site in the past, then you know it is a tremendous place to find great deals. And, you probably asked yourself: “How does a store’s markdown get on this page?” Let’s answer that question now.

On the left is a snapshot of a deal that can be found in Price Drops. Unlike other results on Bountii, you see a tab that displays a percentage. This percentage tells you how much the store has discounted the product. While a large percentage value is fairly indicative of the quality of a deal, it is not the only criteria we use to decide whether to include a store’s markdown in Price Drops. Since one store’s 10% markdown still might not make their price lower than another store’s regular price, we also verify that a deal seen in Price Drops is the best that can be found on the particular product from all of our stores.

And that is how a deal finds its way into Price Drops. Updated hourly, it is certain to show you products at prices you just can’t pass up!
